Splash Ink with watercolor is a delightful journey breathing life into your artwork with a spontaneous Western interpretation of a traditional Chinese painting technique called PoMo. Looking back through history, Ming identifies artists who used this technique beginning in the 8th century Tang dynasty through the 1960s abstract expressionism era to contemporary artists pouring and splashing ink and color. Ming's meticulous description of materials and techniques encourages each artist to unleash the playful creator within by freely experimenting with this dynamic approach to making art.
Please Note: This workshop is two consecutive Saturdays, August 2 and 9. A materials fee of $35 will be due to the instructor the first day.
