Get close to Mother Nature...learn family secrets of trees...what makes rocks rocky; water swirl foam and reflect; clouds float.

Also, special tricks and tips for each category.

Learn to create believable landscapes with just your imagination!

Bring and work with your favorite materials.

Demonstrations will be in pastel, but emphasis on nature, not a specific medium's techniques, allowing students to work in oils or acrylics if they wish.

After five sessions – Water and snow. Oceans. Trees and "green things." Rocks and Mountains. Clouds and Sunset – and one week painting on a black surface, the final week will be devoted to students' requests.

Lots of personal attention.Students will be encouraged to develop their own painting styles, and above all to have fun!

List of suggested supplies is available. Nothing is mandatory. Please sign up early: class size is limited.
