Frank Fuchs: Painting the Portrait in Watercolor (Tuesdays)

In this class we will create expressive portraits in watercolor using photos as reference. 

We will begin with watercolor as a sketching tool to explore compositional design and value in creating a likeness. 

Individual instruction will be given to each student. Students will be encouraged to complete at least one portrait in this 8 week session.

Principles of composition, color theory, methods and materials will be discussed. Each class will start with a short lecture and demonstration.
