Discover why botanicals continue to be the subject for so many artists for hundreds of years. They are ideal for studying the transmission of light, shadow, color and for creating depth and mood.
Emphasis will be given in capturing the essence of a blossom and in recognizing abstract we find in nature.
The class will be painting singular blossoms, as well as floral still-life. Class will meet at BioParks’ Sasebo Japanese Garden, the Mediterranean Conservatory and in the studio.
Soft pastels and all other forms of dry media are
welcome.
All levels of experience can benefit from this class.
