Take a journey, tell a story and make your paintings more romantic and exciting. Learn simple and effective techniques of how to incorporate a variety of flower forms and buildings into your landscapes.
We will be exploring the structure, shape and mass of these elements in the landscape and ways to approach them employing the basics of perspective. Be sure to bring any references or photos you may want to use.
Class will include daily exercises and demonstrations on initial drawing, placement, as well as examples of related techniques. Emphasis on design, composition and critique will help students advance in their skill with watercolor.
Students will also learn to take their paintings to the point of being finished. Please bring the materials you have and check the list of supplies posted online, Carol has added a few items. Each student will receive a spiral watercolor notebook to practice techniques that are presented.
Please sign up early; class size is limited.
