Painting the Landscape in Oils with J. Waid Griffin (Wednesdays)

Join Waid for this 6-week exploration of landscape painting. Students will learn how to paint in oils using the time tested methods of the masters. Color theory and its application to landscape painting will be a central focus as Waid helps each student develop greater skills of observation. Meeting each artist at their individual level of skill, Waid encourages self-expression and individual inter-pretation of the subject while incor-porating the fundamentals of com-position, depth of field and balance in landscape painting.
