Botanical Themes in Watercolor with Ruth Andrews-Vreeland (Monday through Friday)

Join artist, Ruth Vreeland, in this informative and fun 5-day painting workshop exploring the vast range of possibilities with the versatile medium of watercolor. Using photos and cut flowers as reference, students will create expressive botanical themed painting of still lifes or garden landscapes. Ruth will present brief lectures and demos that focus on design and value, principles of composition, and color theory. During class, there will be time for everyone to paint together with Ruth offering individual instruction and critique throughout the workshop.  Methods and materials will also be discussed. Students at all levels are welcome.
