Exploring Watercolor and Collage with Molly Zimmer (Wednesdays)

This is 8-weeks of fun! Join artist, Molly Zimmer, in this exploration of the limitless possibilities of watercolor and collage! Through painting, drawing, layering, composing, adding and subtracting, students will push the boundaries of their visual decisions to uncover fresh and interesting results! Watercolor’s non-toxic and versatile qualities combined with the immediate and bold properties of collage can create inspiring works of art. Color theory, composition, edges and texture will be discussed throughout the class as Molly introduces  watercolor and collage artists whose styles and techniques spark new energy and ideas for future creations!  Students are encouraged to search out their own images, papers, photos and watercolors that are ready to be recycled to incorporate into their work.
