Tom Blazier: Watercolor Landscape Painting (Thursdays)

Join this award-winning landscape painter in a watercolor journey!

You'll use a traditional watercolor approach to follow the process of making a landscape painting, beginning with your concept, then creating value/composition sketches and finally, developing the painting, learning all the elements of the process as you go. Tom will share his wisdom on how to work with watercolor, including exploration of pigment characteristics, brush handling and application of washes/glazing, in addition letting you in on the way he approaches the landscape

Students who have a foundation in basic art principles and some experience with watercolor painting will benefit most from this class.
