Cynthia Rowland: Independent Study—Painting in Oils (Thursdays)

Where do you want to go with your painting? What areas do you need help with and how can you clarify what it is you want to do? You must ask yourself some of these difficult questions when considering working in independent study. 

The benefits of this type of class includes more one-on-one attention, a focused investigation in an area of painting that truly interests you, as well as an exploration of your goals as an artist. 

This class will put much of the responsibility on you, because you are essentially creating your own course of study. 

You will be determining what you paint with guidance from Cynthia. She is there to help guide you by focusing on your strengths and tackling your weaknesses, all the while supplementing and clarifying your thinking, and keeping you on a more focused path.
