Creating Landscapes in Pastel - From Start to Finish with Susan Roden (Fridays)

Have you ever wanted to have a clear picture of how to start, execute and then finally finish a pastel? Join Susan Roden in this 7-week class to learn each step necessary to create a successful landscape painting.  Coupled with techniques, composition, and lessons focusing on the impact of color, Susan will guide students through the sometimes tricky processes that are essential to creating strong works of art. We will cover the basics of this dry, vibrant medium and engage in in-depth discussions, demonstrations and individual instruction. Class will take place in the studio for 5 sessions and, weather permitting, 2 sessions in the field working on location. This class is designed for artists at all levels.
