Capturing the Moment in Watercolor with Pamela Barcita (Tuesdays)

Join watercolor artist, Pamela Barcita, as she demonstrates her unique ability to create textures and effects that truly seem to capture a moment in time. Step by step, students will be introduced to new techniques while creating four different compositions; rust and patina – created with vintage or neglected items that tell their unique histories, reflection and transparency in water – creating a scene revealing what’s under, on and reflected above a waterscape,  snow – creating the telltale signs of passers-by in a snowy landscape and shadows – showcasing interesting shapes that become the surprising focal point of a composition. The results will be both beautiful and effective leaving students with a whole new set of techniques to apply to future paintings! Students at all levels are welcome.
